Hello 5th grade students, parents, and families! Our fifth grade team is looking forward to working alongside your child for the 2024-2025 school year. Throughout the year, our team is committed to teaching your child all of the necessary academic standards along with grade level appropriate social-emotional skills and executive functioning skills to be successful. Upper elementary is a wonderful time for our growing children. Students are learning their interests, developing their own beliefs, and thus becoming a unique individual. 5th grade students not only make large strides within their own sense of self, but the workload and amount of responsibility this year significantly increases as well. 5th grade students are going to be learning about higher level academic concepts in addition to life skills such as accountability, time management, and organizational systems and tools.
